Broomcorn Insides

Broomcorn insides are trimmed to 16", 18" or 20"  or 28" in length. Insides have 1 to 4" inches of the stalk still attached in order to be wrapped around the handle. Hurl or also known as 'outsides' is then wrapped around the insides to create a finished broom. 

Bales weigh approximately 90 to 120 lbs based on length.  Bales are typically 24” in diameter.
